First Oncoming Storm WIP.[link]
Worked on the background for the last week or so. Well, sort of. It's exam time again.
Things that are bugging me.
1. The fire. Does it look like fire? Never drew fire before.
2. The clouds. Same concern.
3. Ended up with three sources of light 'stead of one. Hence the shading on the Doctor is off, since I hadn't touched him since I started the background. Dunno how to shade according to three sources of light.
4. Think the perspective is off. The Dalek on the left is supposed to be behind the Doc. Sort of. Keep redoing it, can't get it right.
Time taken: No idea. Lost count after ten. Did most of the background in one go to music by Hybrid. Touched it up later.

It's a nice pencil drawing. I like the detailed, slightly abstract hair in particular.
Some stuff I can think of off the top of my head:
-I suspect that many light sources might need color to distinguish them. And with lots of fire effects, you can probably do much sharper contrasts.
-Some basic structure issues with the face. Taking more of the bone structure underneath into account might help with both that and the shading.
